Notes

Text
This class meets on three weekends. February 2nd
(Gear check outs 11-5pm); February 9th and 10th
(Pool training 8-5pm @ Mills); February 23 and 24th
(Open Water training 8-5pm @ Shadowcliffs Regional
Park). Additionally, course work will be required over
the Winter Break. Scuba diving requires you to be in
good health, if you are sick for one of these weekends,
you will have the opportunity to make up the class, but
not at the times/dates posted. Any fees associated with
certifying your medical fitness are not included.
Course fee is $450. Students must provide their own
personal equipment. Costs will vary depending on
preference and fit. You will need a scuba mask (~$80),
snorkel (~$30), fins (~$100), boots (~$50), and gloves
(~$50). Total cost is approximately $310. A mandatory
information meeting will be held on December 7th,
NSB 215, 12pm. Priority registration will be given to
those on the associated Bio 43 Tropical Marine
Conservation trip to Roatan. Spots will then be opened
to wait listed individuals.

Cross-list Enrollment

Comments

Listing it as wait list only so that Helen can give priority to students enrolled in Bio 043. Please make sure course fee of $450 is added.
