Arts Management Concentration

The arts management concentration prepares students for careers in arts and culture, whether establishing or managing an arts organization, making a living by producing their own art, or working in government agencies or philanthropic ventures that support artistic or cultural expression.

To earn a concentration in arts management, students must take at least three courses (9 credits) as follows:
MGMT 286The Business of Being an Artist3
Select two of the following:
Nonprofit Management
Funding Social Impact
Innovation in Business, Social, and Government Organizations
Organizational Efficacy
Students are encouraged to choose course projects that incorporate arts management.
